Core Invoice
LiveQuotes, invoices, credit notes and customer statements, with recurring billing and payment reminders.

Core Platform is a South African business suite where invoicing, accounting, stock and payroll all write to the same ledger. No re-typing between systems, and no month-end spent working out which one is telling the truth.
The whole idea
Most businesses run an invoicing tool, a spreadsheet and a bookkeeper who re-types it all. Every hand-off is a chance for the numbers to stop agreeing. Core does this instead.
What is in it
You aren’t made to buy the lot. Start with invoicing and turn the rest on as the business grows.
Quotes, invoices, credit notes and customer statements, with recurring billing and payment reminders.
A real double-entry ledger, bank statement import and reconciliation, trial balance and reports.
Stock that moves the books when it moves off the shelf. Products, movements and orders.
Suppliers, bills and what you owe, tied back to the same ledger.
SARS-aligned payroll. PAYE, UIF and SDL on a versioned tax year, payslips and leave.
Staff claims that route for approval and post themselves once approved.
The pipeline before the invoice. Companies, contacts and deals on the same record.
Book a courier and let the freight cost find its own account.
A till that draws down the same stock and posts the same sale.
Ask a question and get an answer from your live figures, not a spreadsheet.
Pricing
No per-seat charge and no invoice limit on any tier. The bundles always cost less than buying the same modules separately.
One module, no limits. The front door.
Invoicing plus the full set of books.
The books plus stock, buying and people.
Every module, and Cora on top.
Launch offer: R 29 a month for your first three months on Core Invoice, for the first 50 businesses, one per business.
Compared honestly
Entry tiers are cheap because they are limited. Here is what each one runs out of, so you can check before you commit.
We went through four of them properly, feature by feature, including where each still beats us: Core against Xero, Sage, Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online.
Figures as published on each vendor's South African pages, 20 July 2026. Prices move, so check them before you decide. Core is rand-only today, and the bank feed is statement import rather than a live connection.
Moving over
Run Core alongside what you have and cut over when you’re ready. Bring your history from Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, and anything imported is flagged so it can’t double-count your books.
Questions
No. Run Core alongside Zoho and cut over when you’re ready. Import your history from Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, and imported documents are flagged so they don’t double-count your books.
Documents are VAT-aware today. VAT201 preparation lives in Core Accounting and switches on when you register.
Invoices carry a pay-now link on three South African rails: Paystack, NjiaPay and PayFast. You reconcile against imported bank statements rather than a live feed in this release.
Every invoice, payment, credit note and stock movement writes to a single double-entry ledger. Capture a sale once and it moves the stock, updates the books and appears in a report, with no second entry anywhere.
Core Platform is in its R2 2026 Early Access release, running the live books of Randcore and of Omnitronix. You start on a free trial, and some parts of some modules are still being finished in the open. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
