Shopify is the fastest way to get a clean, secure, hosted store live, and for a lot of businesses that’s exactly the right call. Where it earns its keep is also where most agencies stop: the template. We take Shopify past the theme picker and make it fit how you actually sell.

What we build on Shopify

We work in Liquid and the Online Store 2.0 section model, so your team can rearrange pages without breaking the design. When the logic you need isn’t in Shopify or a trustworthy app, we write a private or custom app rather than bolting on five more from the store. Where you want a fully custom front-end with Shopify handling the checkout, we build headless on Hydrogen, Astro or Next.js.

We set up the payment routes your customers actually use, through Shopify Payments where it’s available to you and through PayFast or Yoco where it isn’t, and we wire in local courier and tracking so fulfilment isn’t a manual job. Prices are in rand, and the store is tested on a real phone before it goes live.

Honest about the platform

Shopify trades control for convenience. You get speed to launch, hosting and security handled, and a large app market. You also pay for it: a transaction fee on top of card fees if you don’t use Shopify Payments, less room to change the checkout unless you’re on Plus, and a monthly bill that climbs with every app. For a catalogue-heavy or multi-store operation, PrestaShop usually gives you more for less, and for full control of a WordPress-based store, WooCommerce is often the better home. We’ll give you the straight version before you commit.

Shopify work is a fixed quote once we’ve seen the catalogue and the integrations. Migrations in either direction are part of what we do.
